DEVIN TOWNSEND Joins GWAR At Vancouver Concert

November 10, 2006

Fans at last night's GWAR concert at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver B.C. received a treat when Devin Townsend joined the band for two songs during their hour-and-a-half set. According to one concertgoer, Devin "supplied vocals and was wielding a massive axe for one of the songs. The crowd went crazy for the hometown legend."

GWAR's new album, "Beyond Hell", was produced by Devin Townsend and is said to be GWAR's "most crushing release yet." An e-card has been made available where fans can stream four tracks off the album. A deluxe limited edition of the album includes expanded artwork, a poster and a DVD which compiles all of the SlavePit TV episodes along with additional behind-the-scenes footage on the creation of the new costumes, as well as hilarious footage of GWAR in the studio with Devin Townsend.
